Wherever can be done can be done without splitting, except they have a selfish interest to defend splitting it. This is a political game. Let our region be one and united for us. Why not splitting the large region (Ashanti) because it is NPP stronghold.
I don't trust them, Even though I don't stand for or support NDC and NPP.

We the Ewes can never be ignored if even we prefare not to be politicaly engaged in certain matters. Nobody should take away our legacy from us. After all that´s all we have left of our beloved Volta Region. Afterall the sea has eaten part of it while politician just stood aside and looked why should we now allow the same politics eat the rest of it?

We Africans complain about how the colonialist devided Africa to rule us and yet we do the same thing to ourselves. What should we call that? Neocolonialism. Are we doing that to help the people or in the name of politics. We the people of Volta Region have suffered for a long time from all political Powers. We have already been seperated from the Republic of Togo and Dahomey. Isn´t that enough? What else do they want from us. We africans never learn from past misstakes. The Freenchn English and Portugues have used the same methods in centuries and now our own people would like to do the same to us. Why don´t they devide the Ashanti Region?
