Disgraceful! You should be ashamed of yourselves. This is important to the club and the family. Show some respect. The choice of number has no impact whatsoever on the game.

There needs to be more support for the smaller teams. This club are showing compassion and respect to their former no.1. They league needs to show some ounce of respect and change the rules

Disgraceful because it's a lower league, if this was the premier league the club would always win. Dale was though very highly at the club and would be lovely for the number 1 shirt to be hung up for such a great lad. Let's do this
