Why must you charge?? Why make the decision to affect people's businesses?? Why make the decision to make people miss out on enjoying Barry Island, the beach and everything it has to offer?? The people of Barry and Barry Island are proud to have this on our doorstep, let us have it without making us pay for the privilege!

To restrict choice by imposing these financial penalties would be unforgivable.
An hour is just not enough for a meaningful and enjoyable visit.
Reducing footfall for the businesses, making it more difficult to participate with exercise or voluntary groups and the inevitable inconvenience to local residents. One of the most shortsighted proposals yet from the VoG council.

The island is regenerating nicely as well as proposed redevelopments to toilet block this is a big retrograde step. No to parking charges please rethink V.O.G!!!!

I live on Barry Island and believe the car parking charges will push parking to residential areas, which will affect parking outside my home. It will also inevitably have a huge impact on local businesses, with dog walkers etc not wanting to pay to walk on the beach and have a coffee.

Daily dog walks will become prohibitively expensive. Main reason we live in Barry is to have access to the beach and losing our daily visits would seriously compromise our wellbeing

This is a terrible idea that will cause significant damage to trade in and around Barry
Daily dog walks will become prohibitively expensive. Main reason we live in Barry is to have access to the beach and losing our daily visits would seriously compromise our wellbeing
This will put people off coming to the Island
My business will close as a result of this.
