Petition against the proposed installation of an 18m telecommunications monopole and associated cabinets in front of St Mary's Church, SW19

I think alternatives should at least be listed and compared. What other options were actually analysed?

Is is not appropriate to put the mast close to the church as it spoils the visual character of the area

I am in favour of infrastructure development but locations have to be chosen sensitively. This is not the right location.

Wholly inappropriate location for any telecoms installation, let alone this 18 metre pole with 4 associated cabinets which would blight the magnificent view of St. Mary's Church and its spire and block the busy pavement in this iconic location within the North Wimbledon Conservation area.

Completely inappropriate location as it would be an eyesore and ruin both the look of the church as well as the panoramic views that millions of viewers tune in to watch the Championships every year on TV!

This is an iconic corner in a conservation area and a mast should not be sited here. Please rethink.

Wrong place, wrong thing

Not only is this in a prominent place in a Conservation Area, the application is for Hutchison who are key supplier for Huawei in the UK. The Government has banned buying new Huawei 5G equipment after 31/12/20.
