The city of Sault Ste. Marie: has done little by way of it's due diligence in collecting over 20 million dollars owed by ESSAR Steel Inc.

It has done even less to protect the interests of hundreds of small business owners and independent contractors across the region owed in excess of an additional 20 million dollars in outstanding invoices & services rendered.

Very little has been entered into the record of our local council meetings condemning the actions of this multi national corporation controlling billions of dollars in global assets that is now driving our community to the brink of insolvency itself.

Let it be known that: the undersigned being a diligent tax payer & hard working citizen of Sault Ste. Marie.. have been left with little or no choice but to protect myself, my assets & my family.

I do hereby give fair notice: & warning to all interested parties.

That if ESSAR: does not make it's delinquent tax payment by June 30.th 2017 & our elected representatives decide to pass that delinquency onto us taxpayers byway of yet another soul-crushing Tax-Increase of 20%.

Then I too do declare myself to be in a state of voluntary Insolvency & thereby indeed request protection from my creditors. I will be with-holding my taxes until such as the City of Sault Ste. Marie does file, prove & absorb any and all costs associated with establishing the 'existence' of any alleged debt.

I will upon appropriate court order: pay such 'said' debt once it has been proven by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice that such an 'alleged' debt is rightfully owed to the Corporation of the City of Sault Ste. Marie.

Let it be & or further advised: that if thousands of others join me in this 'lawful' act of Civil Disobedience & that without an active sitting member of Parliament. Our 'creditors' may find themselves in contempt, governing in a 'Dissolved Jurisdiction' & reduced to preceding as an Unorganized Township.
