I am against this golf course until an independent study is done to determine how much water Kane County actually has. Just because the water district owns water rights, does not mean the water is there, if this drought continues. Water is scarce and we need to conserve for necessities.

This venture is a frivolous waste of money that will end up being just another brown course after a few years. People come here to camp, hike, ride bikes, and rock climb. Not to golf. This is not the right project for Kane County!

I believe that the real objective of some supporters of the gold course is to develop the land once the golf course has gone bankrupt - which it assuredly will. This is shameful.

This golf course makes no sense, totally opposed to it. We are in the midst of a severe drought, use our water and our tax money for Kanab, not to line the pockets of dishonest people on the take.

The people who live in Kane county are opposed to the building of this golf course. The only people not opposed are those hoping to profit from it. This will not benefit the citizens of Kane County in any way. The majority of people who live here couldn't afford to use the course, even if they wanted to. And, it's a ridiculous proposition during an ongoing drought.

We would rather the money and water be used on things that will benefit the residents of Kane County, such as a recreation center will year round indoor pool, off-leash dog parks, affordable housing for those in the service sector, interconnected bike paths.
