PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - Don't do this to my adopted home - Mike Noel if you absolutely HAVE to have a golf course, PLEASE just re-build the golf course that is ALREADY in Kanab.

We will certainly be on the hook for this. If someone wants to privately fund, great.- go for it. Our TRT can be better utilized with other projects.

One golf course failure is enough. It was used to promote a housing development. This new golf course is just another 'loss leader' for the same purpose: To enrich the elite and then the golf course will fade into a tumbleweed patch.

My understanding is that golf courses require water and really are no longer that popular. Kane Co. has many more interesting and unusual places to spend outdoor hours. Let's spend money improving what we already have available .

There will be high numbers of golfers for first 2-3 years and then it will drop off and not enough revenues to pay for upkeep, staffing & other expenses. Golfers go to Mesquite with their casinos, St. George with lots of different golf courses and other activities or Las Vegas. Only spent 1 to 2 nights in Kanab and then GONE!
