Why on earth would somebody come to Kanab for golfing. People come to admire the landscape. Kanab has a golf course already. What a waste of water in the drought we have !

We have people in kane county who cant afford to eat, pay rent, pay for hospital Bill's, etc. Spending 12 million of our taxpayer dollars on a golf course would be criminal.

Somebody tried building a golf course up near the Mt. Charlston Lodge...major fail. This golf course would deplete the Colorado River water even more than it is now. We DON'T need or want this!

The water needed for a golf course is best used for the development that will happen whether a golf course is built or not. A golf course is certainly not the "best use of the land" !

We need a recreation center with indoor swimming pool NOT a golf course. That is what TRT funds should be spent on.

Don't see how this course can be financially viable. This isn't Phoenix, Palm Springs or even St. George. The weather here for half the year isn't conducive to playing golf. That means they'll have to have twice as many people golfing the other six months and charge more money, not less like they are suggesting.

We are in a long term and severe drought. The Kane County Water Conservancy District refused to acknowledge that fact. Shame on Mike Noel and his enablers.

Kanab had a golf course in the past. This was owned by two separate entities, both of which failed at the development of the previous course. Now we have an area that was a golf course being developed into high end homes ($400,000 - $500,000) Most of which still to be built. And most living here can not afford. Kanab is under sever drought and can Ill afford the water needed to keep it green and lush.

Question who will work at this golf course? And where will they live?? Transportation? What's wrong with the golf course already in town? Do these high end golfers really want to look at the county jail and smell the county landfill?
