I agree that changes to current hunting regulations should be implemented to help reduce deer populatio s on LI.

Why make it so difficult to hunt on Long Island, when current regulations are not adequately managing the deer population?

Extend the season so we (the hunters) can benefit from it.

Let the bow hunters extend the bow hunting season to March 1st and allow bow hunters to hunt during the shot gun season on the weekends during January.

I am very much opposed to the federal govt taking such extreme measures when there are citizens if the state of NY that are willing to humanly hunt legally to control the deer population. We need to expand hunting season and remove doe limitations to do so. Use of silenced rifles is inappropriate.
