NYS will do anything to deny hunters the opportunity to be successful in the field. This is a total slap in the face to all hunters that purchased a license this year. Who knew there was an epidemic, the DEC never publicized the crisis? If we have too many deer on LI, then let us harvest them. Don't buy a license next year...hunt anyway.
