The NHS are closing The Royal Earlswood Medical Practice in Redhill, Surrey. The GP Surgery has only been open a few years and has alot of patients from the surrounding areas (Redhill, Reigate, Earlswood, Whitebushes, Salfords, etc) which over the years has helped the other GP Surgeries in the area with their patient load. The GP Surgery was notified of the closure on Friday the 20th January. This petition is to try and fight the NHS' choice to close The Royal Earlswood Medical Practice in Redhill, Surrey, at the beginning of March this year. The NHS are meant to be helping to safeguard our health and give good patient care. However, the closure of one of the GP Surgeries in the Redhill, Surrey area would not help either of these NHS goals. The other GP Surgeries are so busy patient wise, a complete nightmare to get appointments with, always busy, and appear to be fit to burst! Closing down the Royal Earlswood Medical Practice would not only mean that the patients registered there lose a Surgery where they trust the staff and can get to easily and have to find a new surgery that will accept them, but also means that the surgeries will become busier, therefore effecting their current patients. If you feel that the GP Surgery shouldn't be closed down, even if you do not live in the area, then please sign this petition. It will be sent to the apprpriate NHS department on the 24th February, 2012.
