Indeed, he needs to apologise to our Cliff. It has not only hurt him, but also his family, friends, fans and his integrity. He is innocent and no one can hurt him without a punishment, let alone a clearance of his name.

am disgusted at the treatment of sir cliff Richard and the handling of the media coverage. Total disregard for his human rights. A public apology is the least you can do it doesn't make up for the damage emotionally to cliff and all his devoted fans.

This has been an invasion of Cliff's privacy. He is innocent . He has not been questioned or charged. I am appalled that you have treated him in this way. what has happened to innocent until proven guilty? Cliff has been treated unfairly and I am appalled this can happen to someone who has given so much to society and has never broken the law or acted incorrectly in all the years he has been in the limelight. The police and the media should be ashamed of themselves. The BBC have breached their own editorial guidelines. This needs to be investigated. I agree that Cliff should not dignify the false allegations with a response and that now he must cooperate fully in order to clear his name.
