The way this has been handled by the BBC and the Police is a disgrace. It should never have happened. to my knowledge no one else has been treated in this manner. I have decided to boycott the BBC until they nake a public apology for the way they have treated Cliff Richard.

The police have been investigating one complaint against Sir Cliff for twelve months and did not find enough evidence to even feel that they could talk to him. Is this future policing then, conduct a high profile raid on a suspect flat and hope that someone comes forward?

I think it's very unfair to treat Sir Cliff Richard in this way. Cliff Richard deserves a public apology from BBC. I still believe in you Sir Cliff..hats off to him and all his entertaining music...

BBC should extend an apology to Sir Cliff for sensationalizing the reporting of this incident. My impressions of the BBC previously had been of a dependable, creditable and serious news organization. Not another tabloid.

All other celebs who have been investigated for similar offences have had their identities kept private until it was felt there was sufficient evidence to take the matter further, so why has Sir Cliff not been awarded the same anonymity? To plaster his name all over the media in early stages when there is no substantial evidence to prove this needs to go any further, is totally immoral & surely there is a libel case to answer here as you have NO evidence to back up the accusation, which at the minute, is all it is! He has NOT been arrested nor has he been charged with anything! To plaster & diss his name in this way is totally disgusting!!!
