The treatment of Sir Cliff Richard has been a disgrace. He must have a public apology that is beamed worldwide.

Cliff has been treated un-fairly, he deserves more respect. Cliff and his fans are an institution we will stand by him.

I am shocked to see how low the Yorkshire Police and the BBC have sunk. Sir Cliff Richard deserves better than this. And so does your audience. Is Jerry Springer running the BBC now?? shame on you all

BBCs actions were absolutely despiccable, what happened to "innocent unless proven guilty"? How can BBC sink so low as to invent dirt about this fabulous person?

The integrity of Sir Cliff Richard has been "besmirched" in the way the media, in patriculr the BBc, and also the South Yorkshire Police have handled this. A public apology is in order. I am British (now living in Australia/Australian Citizen) always proud to be British born...not now, however. I am disgusted with the way this whole fiasco has been handled. I am , and always will be an ardent SIR CLIFF RICHARD FAN....

I am enraged by the actions of BBC and the SYP. They have violated the human rights of Sir Cliff Richard. The least the BBC can do is to give a public apology to Sir Cliff.

They have NO right whatsoever to search SCR's home WITHOUT informing him and without hi s presence !!!!!! especially so when he is a SIR !!!!!!! Don't they even respect that title at all ????? They should had talked to him personally first n investigated it properly before doing such a raid on his home tarnishing his name n FAME !!!! So let's have the apology in all the newspapers n treat SCR with the respect he deserves !!!!!!!!!!

I think the way Sir Cliff Richard has been treated is despicable I have been a fan of his since I was 4 years old. I do not believe this is true for one minute he is well respected and liked .
