The BBC treatment of Sir Cliff was an abomination ....

The way Sir Cliff Richard Richard has been treated by the BBC is disgraceful and I would have expected that given the outcome from the CPS an apology from the very highest person in the bbc is now long overdue. This should have been forthcoming without a petition. The behaviour of those guilty at the bbc should be dealt with in the manner in which Cliff has been treated

i think you now owe Sir Cliff Richard an apology in the handling of his case by you, it was an injusted and humilation to a human being. the way you handled the situation.

Sarah Ann Williams I think Our Cliff deserves a public apology by the bbc for the way he has been treated without any foundation, he's had almost 2 years with this hanging over him. so give him the closure he so badly needs, make the person/persons who alleged, the crime took place to be publicly named, and shamed, good luck Cliff we all love you your true fans will never desert you. xxxxxx

It would be the right and honourable thing for the BBC to apologise to Sir Cliff and to publically set the record straight.
