Petition Against the Breed-Specific Legislation
On August 29th of the year 1990 the government sent out a message banning all pitbulls. In 2005 Ontario started living by this law. The breed-specific legislation indicated that in Ontario any pitbull born 90 days after the legislation was put forth would need to live strict regulations instructed by the government. Some of the regulations include; needing to wear a muzzle with a leash, needing to be spayed and other strict orders given towards pitbulls. This law also indicates many acts towards individuals wanting or looking at being and owner of a pitbull. On top of that the ruling points out that if a pitbull is purchased after the bill signing the pitbull will be sentenced to death. This petition is put out to fight against the government, to show that pitbulls do not deserve this treatment and have the right to live their life like other dogs. The actions of the dog/dogs are not due to the breed but the actions of the owner towards the animal. Human have the right to live freely, why shouldn't they? Please sign this petition and help save the pitbulls who do not deserve death or brutality.
