If this amphitheater is to be built, it should not be built in this location. It is too close to the center of Yukon and people’s homes and will be disruptive to our daily lives. I understand wanting to increase our cities revenue. But the disruption is too great if it is built in this location.

I’m a Yukon resident, and I want our neighborhood to stay safe for our children. I’m against this amphitheater idea because I don’t want the traffics to get worse, I don’t want loud noises, I don’t want smell disgusting marijuana scents, and I don’t want to see more DUI cases in Yukon.

For the sake of our Veteran population and children with conditions that are susceptible to noise and sensory stimulation, do not build this so close to residential areas.

I am writing to express my strong opposition to further construction in our area. We are already experiencing significant road congestion due to the recent addition of three new three-level apartment complexes. This influx of residents has severely strained our existing road infrastructure. The increased traffic is also impacting our schools, which are struggling to manage the congestion. Further construction will only exacerbate this issue. During events like the Christmas Lights at the Park, I am already unable to access my home due to the high volume of traffic. We value the peace and tranquility that the undeveloped land provides, and additional construction would disrupt this. I urge you to reconsider any further building plans in our area to mitigate these negative impacts on our community.

This when you were destroy the peace and serenity we have invested so much time and energy in building. As a disabled veteran I need the solace and peace of our home.

I live one mile NW. This will ruin every summer weekend forever. I'll be developing my land and moving is this passes. I moved west 30 years ago for the peace and quiet. We are not concert goers. We shouldn't be subjected to hearing every concert that will be held there! The citizens of Colorado Springs are having trouble hearing inside their homes 5 miles away! That means this amphitheater will ruin the entire town with noise pollution all summer long so no one will be able to enjoy their time outside. This is the wrong location! The council members need to recruit Costco or other tax producing business along there that will not ruin the town with noise pollution!

I oppose the amphitheater. I feel it is way too close to the neighborhood. Increase in traffic through and around the neighborhood, congestion, noise pollution , huge safety concerns for the neighborhood and children playing, safety of the neighborhood playground. I work early hours and weekends. I don’t want concerts and traffic noise at 10-11:00 o’clock at night when I’m trying to sleep.
