It's detrimental not having record of indication and prescription. Patients record and medical background are vital in dose determination and medical alternative. Not having them can lead to severe medical condition or even death due to wrong medication dispensed.

This is ridiculous. Why other contry which is better than us can work side by side with no silly issue to be be arised?bcoz there is mutual respect in each other profesion.we must unite to save our profesion. But for me i dont see that we are unite enough to strike them back.we shud be strong 1st,by having strong society. I love my profesion.just dont let worst things happen. Just bcoz most of the ministry in health are doctor they just simply can rule out our future. Not only that, they also risk the patient life with this simple regulation which the most of the reason is only money basis. Jangan cover sgt. Go pharmacist!

Pharmacists are the one who master in drugs and its pharmacokinetics as well as psychotropic drugs. Pharmacists are the one who should incharge in dangerous drugs, not prescriber. And the use of DD to patients needs a clinical discussion between both prescriber and pharmacist. Just like what already implemented in other developed countries, Malaysia should do the same, theres no need to change things into something which makes the management of drugs becomes accessed by so many healthcare providers and thus complicates drug management.
