The healthcare systems in Malaysia is very concerning, especially when most of the patients have low health literacy. If no further regulations are put in place to make sure doctors write down what they prescribe and the indication it will definitely jeopardize patient health further, risking the patient taking duplicate meds ( prescribed by another doctor), increase risk of adverse drug reactions and drug drug interactions. I don't understand why doctors in Malaysia are so against dispensing separation as clearly, this would be the best way to safeguard patient health. Most of the doctors don't know much about medicines anyway as they are being trained to diagnose but not an expert in medicine like pharmacists. I would put my faith more in a pharmacists than doctors when it comes to medicine. Diagnosis wise it will be doctor
I'm very disappointed on the decision gov make.
I against ruuf
