Pharmacists are the professionally trained safety nets for both patients and doctors. We minimise overdose/underdose of medication, undesirable drug interactions, unlicensed / unintentional off label / contraindicated / unnecessary / abuse of medicines via scrutiny of prescriptions and patient history. The current archaic system without proper check and balance in place is conducive for paternalism in doctor-patient interactions which could result in under/misinformed patients. Please do not undermine our qualifications reduce us to mere supplement/minor ailments vendors.

Please do no approve this RUUF. Prescripstion should be given to patient, and we as pharmacist will dispense it. It will reduce the medication errors.

If such rule is approved, it is saying that pharmacists are not required as a profession. It means that Malaysia is worst than a third world country. A nation that regresses rather than progresses. And such rule says the same for the whole world. Is pharmacist not required as a profession?

I would like to say thanks to the effort from the pharmaceutical & I totally agree on how the dispensing should works.
Without pharmacist we as a human will just put ourselves in a high risk situation & we should respect their professionals as a pharmacist.
