Actually pharmacist is the drug expert instead of Doctor. With this new regulation, it affect the safety use of drug of patient because Doctor do not know much about the drug interaction as compare to pharmacist. Some more what is the point having pharmacist in our country if all the healthcare only depend on doctor ? Without the prescription, patient might buy wrong medication in pharmacy then who else we suppose to point the fault ? The patient, Doctor, or pharmacist? So I will recommend follow back the former regulation is benefit to all of the involver.

I strongly disagree with RUUF, every field of professions do come with its own professionalism, just like doctor can prescribe, pharmacist can dispense. We never fight for prescribing right, as we know this is doctor profession, at the same time, we, as a drug expert deserve our dispensing right to ensure safe medicines to be given to patients.

I dont think there is a need to change the policy of medicine now? What is the job scope of doctor and pharmacist. Must make it clear that only pharmacist can prescribe the dose of the medicine! If anyone can simply get medicine from third party, it is too dangerous !

Medication safety to patients should be of paramount importance and the check and balance mechanism should not be compromised. We must not tolerate such a step backward in our Malaysian healthcare system. Say no to RUUF!

Strongly disagree with and against RUUF as it fails to provide sufficient protections to the patients' or consumers' rights and interests. This is due to it may lead to to more medication errors and medication safety issues in the future healthcare system. Furthermore, RUUF does not help in the development of pharmacy profession as pharmacists are the "drug experts" by providing the drugs' information needed to the public rather than non-pharmacists and prescribers.

I'm a pharmacy freshgrad who is waiting for the posting.
I strongly disagreed and against this new draft RUUF.
Like others said, it is not practical and can increase many unnecessary medication dispensing mistakes and troubles when prescription is not mandatory and indications are unnecessary on prescriptions.
We should provide safe, quality and effective medications to patients in order to improve their quality of life. However, this cannot be achieved when pharmaceutical compounding is not done by pharmacists. Any miscalculations, wrong compounding techniques or wrong labelling can lead to subtherapeutic treatment or overdosage (which can be lethal).
I want a better health field development in Malaysia including the system, but not like this, drafting such impractical Pharmacy Bills. It would only going backwards, not moving forwards.
Come on, Malaysia!

Strongly against RUUF.feeling sad for government to agree for doctors not to write diagnosis in prescription.there are many drugs which can be used to manage more than 1 diseases,without proper diagnosis written, pharmacist would not be able explain to patient and provide better health care.
