I think this RUUF should not be approved as it can be really dangerous and deadly for non pharmacists to prescribe prescription to a patient. For example, you will not ask a nurse to operate a surgery for you simply because the nurse has seen a doctor performed the surgery before. A nurse is a nurse, who can only assist a doctor but not take on the doctor's role although the nurse has some basic knowledge of the surgery, it just does not makes sense. Hence, i strongly think that this RUUF should not be approved.

Pharmacist is the one that study every perspective of drugs; from chemical composition, physical properties, compounding, reconstitution, pharmacological, toxicity, side effect and many more about drugs. Why bother to give right of a pharmacist to other profession. We have huge family of pharmacists now. We can do our job.

A pharmacist will know the identity of the medication well and give correct counselling for the patients. A non-pharmacist individual will tend to follow the prescription and just gives what is written, that will be dangerous as the patients will not get adequate information of correct counselling points! Besides that, pharmacists can clear the doubts of the patients while non-pharmacist individual will confuse here and there and even gives the wrong answers that I have seen for many times. So, pharmacist should do the job instead of other non-professional that do not know the whole picture of the medication.
