I am a malaysian but currently working as a pre-registration pharmacist in the uk and this is really unacceptable for me. Issuing prescriptions from the prescribers should be mandatory to avoid drugs abuse in pharmaceutical industry and most importantly to safeguard the safety of all the patients.

Im a final year pharmacy student. We need our rights as a pharmacist not because we selfish, but we care for the health of people surrounding us and to improve their quality of life.

There isn't a need of pharmacist anymore with all these proposed draft for the Pharmacy Bill. It will be just be any random person dispensing medication in Malaysia in the future and when something happen who are they going to blame? The pharmacist for not supervising the NON-PHARMACIST? The Pharmacist did not work hard enough to ban this bill? The public? or the GOVERNMENT?
