Ridiculous RUUF. The current system is the most practical as there Is a counter checking mechanism in which the drugs prescribed by doctors will then be checked by pharmacists as well. Making it much safer to the patients.

Patients should know the medicines which are prescribed to them. This educates them on the action of the drug, adverse drug reactions and contraindications as it can save the lives of many patients. Thank you

Don't eliminate somebody that is already contribute a lot to our community. Dont easily make pharmacist one of the victim in this situation. They are totally important to society. Doctors can't do everything. They still need pharmacist and other healthcare worker. Im totally assured that pharmacist still needed in our community

This RUUF should no be considered as the quality and satisfaction for the patients receiving the medications. The importance of our main job is to deliver good and important informtion to them as they are not knowledgeable enough to differentiate between medications. If anything happens we are the one that supposed to take full responsibility because we are the one with the knowledge here.

I am a registered pharmacist in Taiwan. Separation of Dispensing Practice from Medical Practice is crucial for the sake of people's medication safety,and this requires the profession of fully trained pharmacists.How long does it take to train a pharmacist to fully understand and implement their medical knowledge?Say a patient with asthma is being prescribed Propanolol for his migraine,can someone without sufficient medical background understand what this means?

I'm strictly against this as it will lead to a lower healthcare practice standard. Malaysian patients will be the most affected in this case. Wiith RUUF, there will be no one to counter-check errors done by the doctors. RUUF degrades the standard of the pharmacy proffession & the pharmaceutical industry as a whole. With RUUF, lay-man is now welcomed to compound medicine and Malaysians get low quality medicine, no. of drug addicts will increase as there will be no control over the prescribing of psychotropic drugs & finally confound Malaysian patients due to lack of information regarding the medicine that they consume. Plus, they will not be able to confirm anything at all with the pharmacist when the prescription is not given to them. Also, pharmacist will not be able to correct any wrong indication of the medicine given since the indication is not written in the prescription. In summary, Malaysian citizen can easily be fooled by the doctors. Malaysians will witness a scenario whereby our healthcare system will fall apart while other countries are having an advanced, efficient healthcare system. RUUF is bad for all!

Job scope of pharmacists should be done by only pharmacists, we have so many graduates of pertinent course and should nog let those without vast knowledge on pharmaceuticals as pharmacists do to supervise and create a plausible deniability in future when things start to go wrong.
