Instead of empowering pharmacists and improving patient care, the drafting of this Bill is a gigantic step backwards for the pharmacy profession. Commercial interests of the medical profession should not jeopardize patient safety and care.

Not only will this bill severely undermine the role of the pharmacist in the healthcare system, it endangers the lives of consumers when medication is dispensed without first being checked by a trained professional. Please do not pass this bill, for the sake of the patients and consumers.

The Ministry of Health should take care of people's life and health but seems like the new rules are going to another way round. Please kindly look into this issues seriously. The authorities pls think twice before u make the decision, don't wait until things happen and feel sad that people don't understand ur effort to make people more easy to get the medicine they want. I believe there are others way to do it. Pls kindly discuss with the relevant healthcare provider or gather peoples opinion first before any draft announce to people.

I don't think this is a good thing since pharmacist is the one who really trained to deal with drugs.the doctors must state the reason to prescribe the medicine at least for patient's information also.I sincerely hope this decision can be reconsidered to protect patient and consumers.

I totally against it! This is seriously ridiculous. We are dealing with people's health and life. Letting non-pharmacists to perform what the pharmacists do is like risking people's lives to death. What is the point of having pharmacy course anyway if at the end of the day, the non-pharmacists can do the prescribing, dispensing and etc? THIS IS SO RIDICULOUS !!!!!

Pharmacist is a professional. We need expert skill and knowledge to perform the good pharmaceutical care to patient or customer and help to control the misuse of drugs

Silly propsal that will not do anything for ordinary folks but help in enhancing the profits of big drug companies.
