RUUF will deprive the rakyat of the opportunity to receive quality pharmaceutical care. I reject the proposed Bill in its current form as it will not accord any benefit to the public.

It is not fair to the pharmacist and patients. Please think wisely. This may increases the medication errors. Please do care to the patients and not just for the benefits of doctor.

The law stating prescriptions are not mandatory is ridiculous. This means doctors can escape from responsibility if they made mistakes.

The issue basically is based on rights monopolistic competition between the doctors and pharmacists. when this happens, then it will affect the priority of each professions towards patient's health. Why must we not separate the dispensing rights to pharmacists when many country has implemented the system since a long time ago?. Do they remembered both professions has taken an oath to address the main priority in providing sufficient protections for patients and not to achieve certain interests?

Pharmacist should be the 'insurance' for patients' safety and overall health well-being. Proper medicine counselling and interaction checking are pharmacists' expertise, is what pharmacist trained for. The job of dispensing should be clearly separated.

Quality use of medicine is very important and patient safety should be the ultimate goal in healthcare. This isn't about the pharmacists or the doctors, this really is about the rights of people to have access to information on medications they are being prescribed to.

Citizens need pharmacists for knowledge and easy access to medicine during emergencies. GH cannot possibly accommodate everyone. While waiting many emergency situations will already worsen.
I am not a pharmacist but my family members are. Doctors are prone to prescribing wrong doses. Pharmacists know drugs better having studied them in depth. A full diagnosis is and ALWAYS has been of utmost importance.
Please do not RISK THE LIVES OF CITIZENS.
