I'm a pharmacy student :)

Clearly the agenda of this regulation is one-sided, does not benefit both professions and the public at all. It does not encourage the doctors to practice evidence based medicine. And surely this move will push us lower in achieving a world class medical standard.

Please do not jeopardize the future of pharmacy profession in Malaysia

Instead of the terms "non prescribers" and "non pharmacists", why not correct the terms to "doctors" or "medical practitioners"? The public should instead read: 3. Pharmaceutical Compounding can be performed by "doctors/medical practitioners". 5. Juruteknologi Farmasi can be supervised by "doctors/medical practitioners". Don't use word play to confuse the public. Doctors practice medicine, they too study pharmacology in medical school. Don't describe as if they don't know pharmacology at all.

The Government must appreciate and recognise the importance and growth of the pharmaceutical industry. Such biased activities ie passing the RUUF Bill will only curb the development of the industry and lead to compromises in providing fair and top class healthcare services in Malaysia. In summary, consumers are misled and they end up scapegoats and don't get/receive what is good for them.

As a pharmacist to be, I strongly against this RUUF. I believe that every professional is expert in their field and the important of team work. We spent four years studying every detail about medications and drugs and we would like use our knowledge, skill and professionalism to help the public as the pharmacist in developed countries does.

Pharmacy Bill (RUUF) is meant to bring forward development in every aspects of Pharmacy Profession and Pharmacy Practice. Sadly, this RUUF concentrates on Government Regulatory matters while the Equally Important Pharmacists Professional Roles are not fully granted, and patients empowerment and responsibility in their healthcare as stated in Malaysian Health Vision is ignored. Many pharmacists had contributed in numerous workshops and discussions in past 1,000 days, and their inputs must be incorporated into this RUUF. Pharmacists inputs must be given priority over other professionals as THIS IS a Pharmacy Bill. PM and Health Minister must boldly enforce TEAMWORK in private healthcare as it is done in public sector. There are sufficient number of registered pharmacists to complement doctors as clinicians. Historical bondage must be discarded to let Malaysia move forward to achieve National Vision as a Developed Nation. We have given MOH 64 years to RETURN to pharmacists what BELONG to them, professionally speaking. No more waiting period. Please Give Pharmacists a Progressive Pharmacy Law that is better than Poisons Act 1952. Current RUUF Draft is Not Acceptable as it is much worse than existing legislation!! We Reject RUUF.

it is not a professional way

It is not fair to evaluate student's results based on their spm even though they perform well in diploma or degree with skills.

Hope will be considered

Pharmacists have provided much needed medication advice when other health professionals could not because they were less accessible!

Please stop this. Pharmacists have a great role in ensuring proper medication counseling while dispensing. They know the drugs best and this is not good for anyone

Make it benefit to both party. Pharmacists and doctors

Pharmacist can help people in dealing with medication. People have to understand this..

With out the need for indication in a priscribtion how can medication screening b done effectively??it will also slow the opd process with the need to check the indication with the doctor for every time.

Hope government will reconsider our fate as student pharmacy and our future in Malaysia. We studies 4 years about pharmaceutical compared doctor..why they can dispense well?
