I am a pharmacy student which going to graduate soon. The latest draft of RUUF is nonsense and this may harm the health of public who does not have specific knowledge in medications and drugs. The issue of misuse of psychotropic medicines will become more serious if this RUUF is being implemented. Besides that, this makes all the pharmacists in Malaysia play no roles in healthcare and they won't even being respect by patient and consumer. All the fresh graduate will be unable to find job and this makes no difference seen between pharmacist and non-pharmacist even though pharmacist spend 4 years to get a degree cert while non- pharmacist does not need a cert to do all the pharmacist's job.

Let each health profession function at it's optimal level and work together. With RUUF, Pharmacist's role will be undermined and ridiculed by those who give importance to PROFIT and not the SAFETY OF PATIENTS! Internal Prescribing errors (unfortunately it is P&C) reports are enough to justify the importance of a Pharmacist to be the leader in medications and patient's safety. Wishing all the best to our noble profession!

Please give the dispensing right to pharmacists only and make sure the doctors write the diagnosis/indication on the prescriptions

Prescriptions must be mandatory as reference later on. Psychotropic substances must be dispensed solely by pharmacist otherwise it will increase substance abuse cases in malaysia.
