pharmacists make sure doctors dont get things too wrong and result in fatality. it is somehow kind-of obvious that they do not know what we are capable of. We are the expert in medicines , not just over-the-counter professionals who advise about health supplements, counting tablets and doing the minor medical sundries. Doctors are not gods and they dont know every single things on earth. but still i do admire doctors. I think it is the political system that is decaying the healthcare in malaysia, oh and everything else.

I believe separation dispensing is the right thing to do. Why compromise patient's safety when you have an alternative?
Doctors may argue, if medicines are dispense by pharmacists, it would be more inconvenient for patients. Well, if this little inconvenience is exchange with a possibility of death by drugs, who would not want to go the little extra mile for their medications? Besides if the doctors claim to increase medical cost? Well, a good way of solving it is that the doctors must not increase their consultation cost as the medication sales was not originally the income source to begin with. They were basically stealing others' income. Asides that, I believe with dispensing separation, medical cost can be reduced effectively with medicines monitoring and avoidance of unnecessary medications a doctor prescribes, it also provides better and lower cost alternatives for patients.
This Bill, disregard the importance of every aspect in dispensing separation, increases the harm to patients, and clearly underestimating the dangers of medication errors.
It will not be safe for civilians like me the future generations to come. I hope this Bill will not be approved.

"the patient’s well-being should never be compromised." In addition, the Act should in fact promulgate legislation that will effectively and realistically benefit patients and their wallets, revoking special privileges to certain companies to supply drugs to gov hospitals, etc. Create a level playing field and then enforce regulate impartially. IMHO, this has always been a battle about revenue vs best practices between both professionals.
