As a member of the Banking Insurance Finance Union(BIFU) listed below I hereby petition BIFU elections 2021 due to the below reasons:
- THAT I was NOT NOTIFIED of the election DATES, TIMES and VENUES of the elections.
- THAT I have NEVER been informed of the BRANCH I belong to so that I can exercise my Trade Union's constitutional rights in regards to elections and other activities.
- THAT there DOES NOT exist a BRANCH REGISTER where I can get contacts of members to enable me campaign for elections so as to be elected as an official if I want to vie.
- THAT I have NEVER been issued with a MEMBERSHIP CARD for identification in an ELECTION process.
- THAT any purported BRANCH or NATIONAL election RESULTS FILED with the office of the Registrar of Trade Unions should be Nullified

The massive surge in support proves clearly that the BIFU leadership cannot hide their fraudulent election schemes anymore. They think they can operate in the shadows without accountability but this momentum shows the members are fully awake to their corruption. We are taking this fight directly to the Registrar to demand the immediate nullification of these sham results.

I have wasn't given a chance to vote for the current officials. No such forum brought to my attention.
I have never been notified of the happenings with my Union. No elections,no updates of what is happening, nothing
Has there ever been elections on BIFU officials?? I have never heard of any since I joined the union in 2015
I need to vote in my leaders of choice. Cancel the fraudulent and irregular process that purpots our comrades have voted.
We need a strong union to see us through these storms
Together against unlawful termination of union staff

BIFU for the longest has been treated as a personal kiosk, no openness, nothing is known by anyone outside the cycle yet we pay dues therefore we should be permitted to exercise our democratic rights, of voicing our ideas and getting leadership positions for those eligible through open,fair and transparent elections.
