The World Chess Championship has, for many years, been the most prestigious chess tournament in the world where fans are guaranteed to see the 2 current best players slug it out. Pls don't ruin it.

I fully agree with the petition. There is absolutely no more need for the proposed world chess championship rule change to be approved and take effect.

i think it's a very bad proposal for chess, it will just put a big mess in the actual order , all this due to some greedy people.

This proposal could allow a person who does not know how to move the pieces to become World Champion. The loser would then be seeded in the next Candidates cycle.

A situation wherby the world championship is open to those who have the largest financial resources, versus those ho are the natual challengers, is wholly detrimental to the spirit of competition and sport .
