Please do not pardon this man. He had Alvin Jackson showed no remorse at their trial. I watched him in court have smiles on his face, talked about my uncle as if he was no one. Charles Colclasure was my uncle, he was a loving husband, father of the beautiful girls, brother, uncle and a warm, caring man that would give his shirt off of his back to help anyone. This is what caused him to lose his life. He was trying to help to teenage boys and they robbed him, shot his multiple times, ran over him as he was begging them please do not do this and they dumped him in the Arkansas River. His wife, children, now his grandchildren and the rest of those who loved him have had to live with the choices they made that day. They took a great man from us. He is a violent criminal and should be held accountable for his actions, even if he was a teenager when it happened.

I am begging you to please not Pardon Charles Jackson! Mr Dick Colclasure who was coldly and gruesomely murdered by Charles Jackson and Alvin Jackson was my Uncle. He was a good man, a husband, father of 3, son, brother, cousin and Uncle! He was a respected man who had a lot to give!
Charles Jackson is a convicted murderer who also attempted to murder others including his very own brother! He is a man without compassion, without remorse, he is a danger to society including the family of Mr Colclasure! They will forever have to live with the consequences of Jacksons actions, there is no chance of a Pardon for us and there should be no chance of a pardon for Charles Jackson!

Charles Jackson committed a heinous crime. One that they considered giving him the death penalty for. It is awful that the Colclasure family is still having to deal with petitions for a murder that happened over 30yrs ago. The Colclasure family and the deceased's friends will never have Charles back, therefore Mr. Jackson should never be allowed to pretend that this didn't happen.
