To the Administration and the Principal,
It has come to our attention that all Department fests have been reduced from three days to one. The student body feels this rule is restrictive to our academic activities. On top of this, we have been informed that if we want to hold a two day fest, we'll have to take classes on Sunday to make up for the time we spent on our academic fests. This is oppressive to our overall academic development and an unfair imposition on the entire student body. It is within the spirit of the long-standing legacy of LSR that we enrich our studies through annual academic fests which are a site of intellectually stimulating and rich dialogue and discourse. This imposition threatens the very dynamism that our college has stood for. We collectively demand that a two day fest be allowed to all departments. If not, then the students of LSR will not hold any Department fests or conduct a mass bunk to hold a two day fest.
