Petition against Obnoxious building levy by NMA

NMA should endeavour to be responsible just as required of every doctor. Transparency is not only for government....! It begins with us!

This is truly obnoxious and insensitive of the NMA EXCOs...

I signed against NMA National housing levy.

This levy is unjustifiably callous & uncalled for. We Locum Doctors have never benefitted anything tangible from NMA. We reject this building levy payment in its entirety. It's deceptive, fraudulent & shrouded in terms in inexplicable circumstances.

Very ridiculous! Forcing Drs to pay for which building? What about the money deducted from our salaries all in the name of NMA? MDCN or any other body may wake up tmrw and place their own levy. This can also give local chapters to do nonsense very soon if this obnoxious levy is not rejected.

The building levy is just too much. Other ways should be explored to raise funds for the building.

This is a misplaced priority

Forcing doctors to pay this levy and tying to acquiring our practicing license is not good. Leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.

I need adequate explanation about how NMA monies are utilized to enable me make informed decision.

It is fraudulent and ill-advised. At a time when the profession is under thread from every angle, all they can think of is to levy us with such a huge amount. Such burden is unbelievable for now.
