Petition against Obnoxious building levy by NMA

This is rather insensitive, i say no to the deduction by NMA.

I am yet to get my licence after 4 years of paying and registering. I have travelled to MDCN several times from Ogun state where I stay, I have called to no avail. On one occassion d person in charge even demanded that I credit his phone. I also paid #10000 for name change for over 3 years now, no show. Now NMA wants 2 rob us again. Not minding that a lot of doctors are even unemployed for years and many are being underpaid in private hospitals. Yet u want us to build what? Of what use is the building to us, of what use is MDCN building to us at the moment? EFCC needs to probe u guys.

The building levy is a fraud: No quotation. No project cost. No duration. No expected amount to be generated from the levy. Why did the excos pull out of the previous arrangement when the contractor did not default. I fully support the petition. NMA should be probed

It is not fair imposing such huge amount of levy on colleagues

Of all the problems that this medical profession has, with so much doctors leaving the country because the state at which the medical profession is in this country is becoming a joke but even with that our leader (NMA) decides that the next thing to do is to impose a levy on us. If it's not that the doctors spoke out they would have carelessly impose. Why are people this mean !!! We really need to stand against this kind of action

This levy of a thing is joke of the century, and it can not stand. They should account for all the monies they have been collecting monies for fifty eight years

This amount is too exorbitant. This does show that we are Hippocratic brethren.

The building levy imposed on all doctors by the NMA is a huge joke.If they think we'll just cough out that money just by issuing out a feeble threat as,denying us our license by 2020. Then they must have massively underestimated us. NMA that has not stood up to the plight of young doctors who hustle for as long as 2to 3 years before getting placement for house job,doctors being paid appalling wages by MDs of private hospitals have not received the attention of NMA.yet same body expects doctors who get paid appalling salaries to roll out a whooping #20,000

Transparency, accountability should be in the doctors association. Corrupt practice should rooted out

This exploitation and neglect of its junior doctors by the NMA has to stop

1.Nothing says NMA building must be completed in this present administration . 2.There are more important issues that directly concerns the welfare and existence of an average Nigerian doctor.

i pity Nigerians, if this can be happening to doctors. doctors inflicting pain and hardships on fellow doctors. how many times has NMA stand up to defend young doctors or doctors having various issues, but they can impose building levies on us. many doctors are earning 100-150k per month with families to support, what has NMA done to help such or the fact that many primaries are expiring without doctors being able to secure residency placement. this building levy is wrong and uncalled for.

They are being exploitative
