Imposition of such huge amount is preposterous and unwanted. This levy should be subsidized to accommodate everyone. How much do we earn as private practitioners that we are paying that huge for

This is grossly insensitive at this time when the economy is flailing and most people (especially younger professionals) struggle to pay their bills.

NMA should find an alternative way of building their building instead extorting from her members.

I hereby sign the petition against making the 20k NMA building levy compulsory, before Nigerian doctors can paybfor their annual license. It's uncalled for

Inhuman taxation in hard times is the height of insensitivity by an association that should protect it's members.

I keep wondering the usefulness of this so called NMA that I will spend my heard earned 20k for... Such a useless body that cares not about a Nigerian Dr. No policy implementation, no management approach nor intervention favourable to the plight of a Nigerian Dr, from internship space difficulties to poor renumeration for an nysc Dr, down to a no policy implementation on a medical officers renumeration (private and public) noting for the welfare of a Dr in Nigeria. No 1 really cares. Talk of ARD and residency training, NMA don't care about these. Yet they wake up to ask for levies without thinking about the fact that some Drs don't even have a job nor such money in their account as we speak, some are so poorly paid that they feel frustrated. Notin benefits a Dr in Nigeria from this so called NMA. Need I explain more how useless this NMA is?. Please they should forget about any nonsense God forsaken building already... I won't pay for what I don't know or benefit from.

Pure exploitation. Lack of initiatives from the leaders. Monthly dues and annual renewal fees are enough.
