I strongly oppose the imposition of this levy, it is draconian and it is illegal. Why should my eligibility to practise medicine be tied to payment of an association's levy? Highly irregular

This levy is totally wrong. NMA SHOULD use 70 percent of doctors yearly Licence fees which NMA collects each Year from MDCN of which nothing tangible has been for Doctors from the money collected over the past 20 years

The levy is actually uncalled for. We pay practicing license yearly that runs into millions, NMA should build from that rather than double tasking her members.
