Building a secretariat is a great idea. But there must be transparency. What kind of building? Who is building it? How much is needed and over how many years do they wish to have it erected? The penalty of not renewing the annual practicing license is criminal to say the least.
Do find better ways of funding this project.

I sign this petition against the bid to make the noble doctors of Nigeria pay an unreasonable fee or any fee at all for the alleged building without even consulting the people they serve. It is unsatisfactory to treat each other this way.

2. In NMA all doctors are equal categorizing to below or above 10yrs is uncalled for.
3. Doctors' problem has never been NMA building. We do not need such costly building just for administrative purpose.

NMA should find other means of sourcing funds for this project. Though a worthy project, but that's not among the top priorities of Doctors Needs. My question: Can't we enter into agreement with developers who will build and release to us after a stipulated time within which time they would recouped their capital with interested. Agreement can as well be reached so that we use just a part of the building while the developers manage the bulk of the building investment. #mythought#

Compelling us to pay this levy completely contravenes what democracy represent and simply brings to limelight the tyrannic rule of this set of excos and an indication of cryptic corruption going on in their ranks. Human injustice to fellow human.
