The problem with the building levy is not in the levy itself
Its is that there is no transparent system...
No system of accountability...
We don't even know what 40k / 20k by total number of doctors in Nigeria will amount to bearing in mind that those of us who will be required to pay 40k are more in number and more doctors will flow into the system on or before December 2019
If I am a financial member of this association, its my right to know how money is being spent...
When last did you send me an independent audited account of NMA???
Before you task/levy me, is it not my right to know the budget of the project you want to undertake on my behalf?
What of the process of awarding of the contracts... ???
So many worries .... Corruption everywhere...
NMA, *how much do you expect to get from this levy* .... *what is your budget...???*
If only we had leaders who represent the interest of Doctors... They would have come back to the Congress men and women at the state and zonal level to seek our approval before giving ascent to this obnoxious and autocratic levy...
I know this kind of thing will not happen in a civilised world...

This is wickedness.
Some doctors are finding life so difficult if you don't know. The salary is not enough.
Here in Rivers state the monthly levy is 3000. Those of us that belong to other affiliates pay extra levies. It's just too much.

NMA is an association of doctors whose membership is voluntary. why should MDCN allow itself to be used in compelling ALL doctors to pay a LEVY that is not part of its satutory function?!

I am against impunity
NMA building levy is a scam
