This is really wrong on every level. MDCN and NMA are two separate bodies and as such they operate separately. The building levy requirement should be completely removed from the MDCN portal, it has no business being there.

Imposing NMA building level on doctors is criminal and it is against financial regulation. FG should sanction mdcn for this.

This is gross injustice and must be stopped, why should mdcn a govt agency have payment of nma building levy as a prerequisite for eligibility to renew your annual practicing license on its portal. What is the relationship between NMA and MDCN.

These levies certainly are uncalled for. State NMA which claim they remit to Federal NMA collected 50k from her doctors in one of the states for a state NMA building. When will we ever get it righjt?

I am totally against the imposition of the levy on us. There are more pressing problems including the exorbitant cost of writing exams and updates, the need to not spend more than 24hours at work at a time and so on that nma should be looking into

Let there be a proper feasibility study of the NMA House. How much is the cost of the house and the amount this deduction will amount to.
Also Bayelsa drs paid N10,000 building levy to National 3 years ago. They have not accounted for that money

NMA should find other ways to source funds for the building rather than imposing this very harsh levy.

Nigerian doctors need more than an edifice. There should be an alternative means of funding.
