This is a petition against the new Newstead Sixth Form dress code. The dress code is being formalised to suits that you would wear in a work environment but no one is happy with this. We would like to keep it as the current dress code which is smart casual. We feel that this making us spend money that some people do not have and it is also restricting our individuality. It is also going against our wishes as we never wanted to wear suits in the first place. This decision was made without consultation with us. Please could you sign this petition by 17th June so we can give it in. Thank you.
