The new board of the organisation ESN UP Olomouc have decided to move the event known as Language Exchange to the S-klub.
There were no reasonable grounds for this change due to the fact that the previous venues have always run smoothly and guaranteed satisfaction among visitors.
S-klub is not a suitable place for Language Exchange based on these observations:
- S-klub is a location for parties, while Language Exchange is rather a social meetup. Therefore there is a risk of miscomprehension and problems with intoxicated individuals.
- The space is not suitable for this kind of event, considering its long narrow shape and it is not providing comfortable sitting or area to put tables for standing efficiently.
- The technical equipment of S-klub does not seem to be sufficient to organize Karaoke and Quiz nights, whereas Buddy's Bar provides several LCD screens.
We call on ESN UP Olomouc to change the location of Language Exchange event back to the Buddy's Bar & Music Club.

The board at ESN UP Olomouc cannot ignore the massive surge of frustration coming from the community. This momentum proves that we refuse to let them force Language Exchange into a venue that is completely wrong for our needs.

I agree that s-klub is not a place for Language Exchange, though I would recommend to do something about air conditioning in Buddy's bar. It was too hot there all the times I came to the event.
Agree with the petition. Most Language Exchange visitors want calmer kind of environment for social exchange and are not interrsted in dealing with hords of S Club drunktards.
Can't imagine an event like language exchange taking place in a space of S-klub. I like the cosy and friendly environment of Buddy's and I doubt this effect can be rached in place like S-klub or such

I think the language exchange is better if it takes place in the center...
Buddy's bar is perfect for language exchange, comfortable, good location and nice environment. Don't change it :)

I think that Buddy´s Bar is one of the best bars in Olomouc with incredible atmosphere and perfect for the meetings like Language exchange. It cant be copared with S-club... In addition it is closer to the city center and to the tram for Erasmus students who usually live in Neredin and take the last tram. I hope to see you in Buddys bar!
