West Longview high density "cottages" proposed to be built in your neighborhood!
If you live nearby or between 42nd and 48th on Pennsylvania THIS WILL AFFECT YOU!!!!
They're proposing stuffing 85 homes on 7 acres at this address. The lots are 30' wide. As one person put it, this will be a mini ghetto. Notification of this project to neighbors was beyond poor.

We're all about helping people that want to help themselves but this development is being put in the wrong place. Pennsylvania cannot sustain this increase in traffic. No sidewalks no street lights. A poorly obeyed speed limit. This will decrease property values in this area.
There's a lot of vacant land in Longview and Kelso that would be better suited for this.

I have been spending my evenings mapping out the traffic patterns on Pennsylvania to prepare for the upcoming planning commission hearing. Your stories about close calls on this road confirm exactly what I feared about this project.

Seeing this many of my neighbors speak up proves that we refuse to let our streets become an afterthought. This momentum shows that the people living here will not stay silent while our safety and property values are ignored.

NO! We do not want this in our neighborhood. Keep it away!
Terrible spot for this. Infrastructure is not there to support it.
This is a poor idea for not only ecological reasons (delicate wildlife live in this area), but also from an infrastructure perspective. There are no sidewalks on Pennsylvania, no street lights, poor internet access (no fiber optics) on this side of the golf course and hardly any public parking available. Take this kind of cookie-cutter planning and development back to Clark county and King county where it belongs, don't wreck West Longview by introducing high density housing and brining along all of the associated problems. You want to build on that 7 acres? Build in an equivalent fashion to what already exists in the area; Build a cul-de-sac with several single family homes.
85 homes is insane for that small lot. The road is already dangerous enough as it is.
This is not in an appropriate place to put this development please do not do so..
I moved away from the city to get away from developments like this...
Too many to count on bad reasons. 80 cottages on a 7 acre spot is too dense.

My kids walk to school near there and it is already a nightmare with cars flying down the street. Adding more cars is just asking for a tragedy.
