Tourism is important to our beloved country. We must protect the very reason tourists come to visit. Even more important is to protect our heritage and our birthright.

The bay is a well known juvenile breeding ground. To declassify it from AA to B just to suit some private investor is ludicrous and against all the environmental appeal Palau gains from the world including the platform of the current President.

Preserve Nikko Bay and its unique environment. No development is worth its destruction.

It's classified AA for a reason.

The reclassification of these waters is inappropriate and ecologically stupid. Reef flats and mangrove areas are important nurseries for many fish species. Palau cannot afford to destroy such areas in the name of development.
