I do not mind the culling of our deer, but I think that bow hunting may not be the way. Perhaps trapping or a round up of sorts and relocating might be an idea. Of course, I don't know if that is a feasible solution.
My fear is stray arrows, pets or people getting nailed. Not all bow hunters are sharp shooters.

My husband and I chose to live in Coosawattee because it was an "animal sanctuary"....we were told that "culling" would never be allowed...I am outraged... let nature take it's course.

One of the greatest enjoyments in the neighborhood is getting to see all the deer. They appear healthy so they are obviously getting enough food.
I think letting hunters loose in the neighborhood no matter how careful they are poses a danger to residents. What is the boards plan if someone accidently gets shot and killed? BAD IDEA!!!!!!!
