Petition Against £30 Charge for Uplifting Brown Bins

Ridiculous and out of touch,like most of the councils decisions,hang ur heads in shame.

i thought recycling and being green was a priority!! no more regressive taxes!

no need for it as it only needs emptied 2 or 3 times a year should be no charge!!!

I pay community charge which to miss mind incudes public services. This includes the emptying of the bins supplied by the council for recycling purpose. This includes that brown bin

We will not pay the £30.00 charge as we feel we are penalised already by having to pay factoring charges and we do not get any benefits from that

We will not pay £30.00 we already pay a factoring fee which we should not have to as we look after our own garden and surrounding area.

I pay my Council Tax, why am I being charged twice?

We are paying for this already .....why pay twice!!!

I think this charge is most unfair. We, as householders, are doing our bit for the planet and for our future generation and should not be charged extra for it. This will only encourage fly tipping or do you want us to mow our grass without a grass box and just leave the clippings lying on the grass like the council do nowadays.

We pay enough with our council tax and all our other utility bills

I already pay enough money for the limited service I receive from THC. The have more need to cut money spent on jaunts, handsome early retirement payments, pensions etc
