The Northland can't support the infrastructure or resources for this development.

Although I believe that what the project is aiming for is a good cause, the proposed locations are not suitable for the type of community needed for it's residents to thrive. This type of development needs to be close to public transportation and other community resources. Also, the section of Platte Purchase road itself is not conducive to the traffic (foot and automobile) that the biggest part of this proposal will produce. I believe a more suitable place can be found for ALL current and future residents affected.

I chose to live in the northland for the education my children will receive. Adding too many new students will negatively impact class sizes and the overall education my children receive.

This will cause even more strain on an up and coming area, not to mention the families are in this area to escape the situations that arise from what is actually section 8 housing. This is not something the northland wants to be a part of. Please rethink.

We don't need more low income housing in the Northland.

I signed the petition because I am a homeowner who is concerned with the possibility of higher crime and lower property values brought about by this development.

This is the absolute worst idea ever and would make a significant negative impact on the community.

I live in the Park Hill school district. I moved to the area to get away from some of the very problems this development brings into the area. My biggest concern is the potential negative impact it could have on the school district

I think you actually meant, "large numbers of black children," right?

You can save a few words and just say what you really mean: "No black people."

As a former Platte County RIII (Pathfinder Elementary) kindergarten teacher I can tell you that we were not getting the funds we needed to adequately teach our students. We had 7 sections of kindergarten when I taught there three years ago and we had very large class sizes.
