We don't need that kinda trash in the northland. It's dangerous enough with the Zona Rosa area and bars that draw dangerous people to the area. We don't need them living here. It will only cause more crimes.

Not a good idea for our community as it will bring in more crime, hurt property value and crowd schools even more than they are!

Unbelievable that this is even being considered. Absolutely a vote for "no".

The developer's proposal is simply a scheme to enable the developer to profit at the economic and social expense of the many residents who have invested in the neighborhood on the basis of its stable, middle-class lifestyle. This proposed development is a scam by a cynical, money-grubbing developer that is totally out of character with the surrounding neighborhood.

Home owners already pay income taxes, property taxes, and city earnings taxes if they work in KC. Section 8 unfortunately hurts property values and will bring some crime. Please don't punish home owners living in the adjacent neighborhoods to this proposed development. It's enough to provide subsidized housing with taxes. Don't take property values too.

I live up north because I feel safer. This possibly becoming my new neighbors would change that. Put the money towards fixing the current housing not moving a problem to a new setting.
