Darlington School has such a special place in my heart. I attended this school during K-8th. I also worked at this school and the after school program, Boys and Girls Club of Darlington, for 6.5 years. Darlington and Boys and Girls Club was the reason I got 3 semesters of college paid for with the scholarships I received. The years I spent here have had an outstanding impact on my life. I know the same to be true to others that attended Darlington School. Schools like Darlington School are so important in that they are smaller and teachers and staff can spend so much more one on one time with their students. That being said, the teachers, staff, and students are not only just that; they become family. Schools like Darlington create relationships that impact your life forever. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to attend a school like this and hope others get that opportunity as well.

No!!!!!! You can't close this school down. I went there. So many memory's, friends and family I made. I graduated from Darlington in 2004. This can't really happen. Y'all can't do this to the people. This is a really good school.

It would be a tragedy to close Darlington. This school is such an important part of the El Reno community. The children who pass through her halls get more than just an excellent education. They get to experience caring, guidance, and a family. Darlington School staff and children are like a family. They care so much for the children. Please don't take this experience away from these kids who desperately need these things the most.

It's ridiculous how el reno high school wants our money .. They use it on us .. I'm one of the students that goes here , and I demand that we keep it going on here ! It's a great school , great teachers . They actually care about your education more than these other schools !

All of my grandkids graduated from Darlington. I would hate to see such an awesome school either close or consolidate with any other school!
