Dear Senator Reid,

As an American voter, I'm writing to ask you to repeal SOPA and PROTECTIPA.

I support the stated goal of the legislation — to protect intellectual property and stop online piracy. And I would never willingly violate either of those principles.

But this legislation would not accomplish its stated goal, while threatening the underlying structure of the internet we know and love — and for that reason, I oppose it and ask you to do the same.
